Het helpt bij vermoeidheid en ontspant de spieren. De essenti\u00eble olie van basilicum werkt ook verzachtend en slijmoplossend bij hoest en verkoudheid.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sandelhout olie\u00a0<\/strong>wordt gewonnen uit houtsnippers van de <strong>Sandelhoutboom\u00a0<\/strong>door stoomdestillatie. De boom dat uit Indonesi\u00eb afkomstig is, wordt in verschillende religies als heilig gezien. Vandaar dat het veel gebruikt wordt bij de bouw van tempels en religieuze gebouwen. Het hout van deze boom is zeer geurig en verspreidt een houtachtige en kruidige geur.<br \/>\nSandelhout olie bevat een hoog gehalte aan valerianol welke er voor zorgt dat het een rustgevende en kalmerende werking op het zenuwstelsel geeft. Laat gewoon een beetje pure etherische sandelhoutolie open staan en het kan al het gewenste effect geven bij onder andere: slapeloosheid,\u00a0 stress, depressie, angst,\u2026 Sandelhout heeft een sterke antiseptische uitwerking, ze helpt bij verwondingen en ontstekingen, jeukende huidirritaties, huiduitslag en allergische reacties zoals acne, eczeem\u2026<br \/>\nZe stimuleert ook de aanmaak van nieuwe huidcellen en daarmee wordt het verouderingsproces van de huid vertraagd.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Marjolein<\/strong> staat bekend om de opwekkende, pijnstillende, anti-oxiderende en krampstillende werking. Gemengd bij een massageolie ken het verlichting brengen bij een spiermassage.
